By Muhumuza Faizo King, A few years ago, I was honored to join more than 90 young African Leaders from fourteen East and Central African Countries. All of them were more different than they were the same. The most significant similarity lied in their desire for change and zeal to stand tall in the face of adversity to lead the change they desire. They did all this with an impeccable level of excellence and an unmatched commitment to their work. To mention but a few; in his early twenties, Ahmed Ali a qualified Pharmacist left his profession because he believed he would lead more change while teaching and mentoring upcoming African stars at the University at Khartoum in Sudan. For Victor Kabegu change meant setting up a great cassava farm and adding value by making starch out of the cassava. For Isaac Rwomushana change meant excelling as a junior lecturer at Makerere University in the quest for becoming a highly knowledgeable international Educationist. For Aidah Bukubuz...

My Africa, My Europe. Africa you are my home. Europe you are my other home. The globe is our real home, absolutely! the giant home. I have given my all to you Africa. But my all is not enough. My all may not save you Africa. Europe is a triumphant home. Technology and innovation is rising and never falling. Ooh! what a home I have, separated by the sea. A union between Europe and Africa will save the day. Working together, winning together, saving the planet together. Is the goal. Europe bring your technology and success stor...

In the last week of November last year, we commenced a Microsoft organized Cloud computing colloquium in Machakos County - Kenya with the clear objective of spreading the now unavoidable computing gospel ‘Cloud-Computing’ to East and Central Africa. Technical brains from Kenya, Rwanda, Tanzania, Ethiopia and my home country Uganda graced the event with their presence and it was such a pronounced lifetime technical experience that amplified my braveness to support the revolutionary cloud computing technology I once disapproved, according to the late Egyptian diplomat Boutras Ghali,  “It is a fool who does not change his mind”. In this day and age, it would be pessimistic to dissociate one ‘self from technological innovation. There are inexhaustible reasons that describe why I now agree that indeed Cloud Computing is the ‘thing’. Imagine you have servers in an org...

Written by, Muhumuza Faizo King . 8 th / November / 2016 is the historical day on which Americans voted for the 45 th President of arguably the strongest nation in the world (USA). Openness, Authenticity, Fairness and Integrity was exhibited to the completest save for inevitable human errors. After a really tough campaign between a highly experienced politician and the first female candidate from one of America’s major political parties Hillary Clinton, and a rich man Donald Trump who had never served in government or military although over the years he has been a highly connected global citizen. From China to Israel, Trump has always been recognised. Not just as a pronounced business man but also as a man who likes to lead and influence especially through his state of the art books and reality Television programs. In this compassionate article, I will concentrate on the three most important life l...
